What’s on this page?

Finch stands on a path of round stones, with tall grass and leafy plants on both sides. There are big shapes for little hands and small stones and leaves for kids who like details. Finch is blue in my book, but on your page he can be any color at all.

What can you talk about while you color?

Finch is about to walk somewhere new. Ask your child: “Where do you think this path goes? What would you bring with you?” It’s a gentle way to talk about trying something new, like a new school or a new neighborhood.

A coloring idea from me

Color the path first, then the grass. Leave Finch for last, so he becomes the star of the page.
